Fresh Air- Social Awareness

Hello Friends coming into blog field after a long time, nevertheless coming to the topic as time is running away. Why I am saying that, these days lot of news coming about Air Pollution, this is very Important issue and every people need to come forward that whether they want to breathe fresh air or get affected by it, "its upto you only". When any crime happens(Rape/Murder) every comes  on the road, then why not same support regarding "air pollution which can make you very ill". Recently an article printed in The Hindu tells that nearly "6,20,000 premature deaths" happens. The air people breathe in many cities are very Harmful. Major contributions to Air pollution are motorisation, coal burning, Industry work and other construction works.
I am not saying that these activities should be stopped, but there can be alternative ways or can be reduced.
Global Warming is also affect of Air Pollution. Of Season rains are causing huge damage to agricultural crops, due to which prices will rise.
Crackers that we burn causes lots of pollution, when we wake up next morning we breathe the same polluted air.
1) Using public transports and reducing own vehicles especially on office days, as lots of private vehicles(cars) are increasing at an alarming rate. Else use Green vehicles or bicycles for short distances else the pollution you are creating will make you only ill.
2) To reduce coal burning for production of electricity, start using Solar roof tops, especially those who have the money should start using it.
For Industries it is the challenge to keep the balance between Progress and Pollution.

Contribute as much as you can it will be helpful for you only in the future.

More awareness of Education through advertisement........A message to Media

Hello,

My New Blog is regarding the type of advertisement that should be shown in TV/Radio that encourage the education.
I wanted to bring in the notice of media(TV/Radio) in how they can contribute towards the Education of Children, it is a very simple method called advertisement. I would request the media all the government and private channels that the advertisement that you show in the channels or in Radio, including that you should also promote the value of education, by promoting the value of education, by creating the awareness about the education, especially when it is broadcasted is such areas or to such people who think education is not must, they will realize the importance and send there children's to the school. If the ad can bring about an increase in 5-10% that will be huge achievement.

They should create such advertisement, by seeing or listening to them people should get inspired and understand the value of education, so that they should encourage there children to go to schools.

Why I am talking about the advertisement because these days, TV/Radio are in maximum homes and there are many homes which do not send there children's to the schools, they know the meaning of education, but they do not the value of education.
I know Government is doing many efforts to increase literacy rates like opening many government schools etc. But I think an Innovative advertisement might just help us.

Knowledge society

I Divya Gaurav while reading a book "Ignited Minds" came across many Inspirational things.

To develop India we need to think in a mission mode, like India did during Independence.
To develop India we need to work in a Integrated manner, were the connection of Colleges and Industries are Important, connection Of Industries is important were the production of one Industry can be used by other Industry.
To develop India connection of villages are Important by type of ring road connecting.
We have so much of natural resources all over India. With proper food processing units, villages can have more revenue.
Instead of exporting raw materials outside India, then importing the finished product, better is that we should make finished products in our country and bring more revenue to our Country.
All the young people need to work in a mission mode to work for our country, in which ever field they are working.

We need to build a "Knowledge society":
1) Social Transformation(In the form of Knowledge)
2) Wealth.

Also there is  reduction in manpower in Agriculture, so to compensate we need to have better Pre and Post methods in the Agriculture field.

*Saving Electricity is much cheaper than Producing It.*

Gaurav

Piezoelectricity - Green Energy - Need of The Hour.

I would like to talk about the “piezoelectric effect” which can be used to produce electricirty from the mechanical pressure. Piezoelectricity is the electric charge that accumulates in certain solid materials (such as crystals, certain ceramics, and biological matter such as bone, DNA and various proteins) in response to applied mechanical stress. The word piezoelectricity means electricity resulting from pressure.

Research has proven that piezoelectricity can be used in roads and floors to generate energy.  In fact, there are several cities around the world that now have piezoelectric streets and floors.   In 2008, a piezoelectric floor was installed in the Tokyo railroad station.  As passengers walk on the station’s floor, kinetic energy is generated.  This energy is then used to power the ticket gates and station signage.  Toulouse, France has also experimented with piezoelectricity.  Instead of using the technology in flooring, the French installed the piezoelectric sensors in sidewalks.  The stored energy for above passersby is then used to power street lamps.

Piezoelectric is the electricity which can be used in Railway stations, Metro stations, Bus stops, Malls and more public places were people gather and walk around, so that more mechanical pressure is applied. It can be installed in all these places, so that electricity can be produced. Certainly with the use of piezoelectric effect we can save lot of energy, in our country as already there is a scarcity of electricity. As we all know that we have great number of people who commute daily, so large population can work in our favour. Already solar energy and other types of energy are making good contribution to the society, similarly piezoelectric effect can be used at least in some major places to contribute to the energy system of our country, as use of coal to produce the electricity can be reduced.

I request to all the Energy companies to start using this process at smaller level so that we enlarge our area and produce maximum electricity.
Please let me know if any more information is required.

Thank You

Help for Needy People......A message to NGO's

Hello,

This message is for the NGO's-

My name is Divya Gaurav and I am a citizen of India. I am writing this message to you because I have a concern about our country, I want you all to cover as much area as possible. But before that I would like to thank you all for making such a great NGO's which take care so of many people who are not able to live there life properly or helping out the needy people. I would like to congratulate all the NGO's for such a wonderful work.
What I wanted to bring in concern with you is the concern about the poor people who beg around at railway stations, bus stations, red lights, foot path, those who do not enough money to eat or a place to live, at night also they sleep on footpaths, gardens, lying here and there without any purpose. There are many poor people below poverty line who are atleast able to earn something so that they sleep with something in there in there stomach in there temproray homes. But there some people who comes below this level, who are begging and lying on footpaths.
I live in Noida near New Delhi, many days when I go to my office , I see many people lying near roadside, some just seating besides the road and begging, can’t you all move forward and change this issue, you all are doing a great job, you just need to go forward take this issue also.
These people are not known to anyone, they don’t care about the politics, cricket, I can they have forgotten whether they are alive are not, they have lost all there Identity. But the NGO can forward and help them attain there identity, so that they do not have to beg, and to sleep shelterless.
I want you(NGO) to come forward help those people, just pick them from roads and give them atleast a shelter and something to eat. You (NGO) can tell about your program online, many will come forward to donate. These people are not known to government, because they are below the poor poeple which exits in our country, which are some what taken care by government but that is also not fully. Cover as much area as possible make them feel that they are also part of this society. So pick those who sleep on bus stands, railway stations, roadside, gardens, so that they do not have to beg and sleep on roadside.
I also request the business mans to come forward for such people, NGO’s in India are doing a great job also the people of India is donating to help such people still, many are left out, why can’t we come together and help in lifting there lifestyle to atleast they have basic necessities, there are many people who are just busy in earning money, but they should come forward, and as usual these NGO’s are providing us the platform for it.

So, this message is for all the Indians along with NGO’s also.

Thank You

Divya Gaurav

Malnutrition,Poverty and Food Security Problems

Malnutrition is a very major problem in India, simply too little food lacking in essential nutrients, has resulted in the world's largest proportion of stunted children with poor brains. Worse, their poor health begins before they are born,in the wombs of their "half-fed" mother.
So, lack of proper food is a major problem.

1)Malnutrition decreases educational achievement, labour productivity and economic growth.

2)India has the largest child development programme in the world, yet progress in nutrition has been limited.

3)According to the medical journal lancet, malnutrition in the first 1000 days of a child's life  is irreversible.

4)India is home to the world's largest food-insecure population.

5)India ranks 66 out of 88 countries in the Global Hunger Index(Higher the rank worse it is),it is calculated on the basis of child malnutrition of age below 5,infant mortality, population consuming calories less than 1800.

6)How the world counts its poor,in UK if the annual income is less than 11 lakh(Rupees)(family of four) you are counted as poor, same in US,in India the poverty line is calculated on the basis of consumption expenditure, which comes out to be 4,080/month for rural and 5000/month for urban.

7)Child Nutrition in India is twice of Sub-Sharan Africa which is one of the poorest regions in the world.

8)30% are born with low birth weight due to poor nutrition to women which is directly propotional to the less availability of food.

9)Starvation Deaths in 2009-10 is 3 times of the previous year.

10)Malnutrition decreased by just 1% from 1999 to 2006.

11)To reduce this hunger malnutrition problem government is bringing food bill which will cost around 1.25 lakh crore, and government can help themselves.

12)By report of 2010 about 176.83 Lakh MT of grains lying in the open including FCI and State Agencies, and due to lying in the open the food grains goes rotten due to weather effects, about 1/3rd is uneatable.

13)But according to norms not more than one year the grain should be kept in open.

14)Further more 27.38 Lakh MT of grains lying in open in Punjab, 31,574 MT lying open in Haryana.

15)According to 2013 report 11,07,683.3 MT goes waste in government godown worth 2050 crore in last 3 years.

16)There always a system in Chhattisgarh where there 298 PDS systems where food is distributed using a central server system, where each center have one GPRS enabled machine which swipes the card given to the people and the record goes to central server, but in PDS also the family is restricted to rice and lentil soup.

17)According to norms little much wastage is acceptable due to transportation and other things but in our Country where so many people suffer due to lack of food, even a single grain should not be wasted, instead of wasting so much of grains in government godowns these should be dsitributed to the needy ones.

Agriculture Problems

Problems in Agriculture which is called as backbone of our Country.

Slow agricultural growth is a concern for policymakers as some two-thirds of India’s people depend on rural employment for a living. Current agricultural practices are neither economically nor environmentally sustainable and India's yields for many agricultural commodities are low. Poorly maintained irrigation systems and almost universal lack of good extension services are among the factors responsible. Farmers' access to markets is hampered by poor roads, rudimentary market infrastructure, and excessive regulation."
—World Bank: "India Country Overview 2008"

1) Population Pressure:

Due to increase in Population demand for land has increased. Every bit of land has been brought under the plough. Even the hill slopes have been cut into terraces for cultivation.

2) Inadequate Irrigation Facilities:

By and large the irrigation facilities available in India are far from adequate. So for half of the total area under food crops has been brought under irrigation and the remaining half is left to the mercy of monsoon rains which are erratic in time and space.

3) Depleted Soils:

With deforestation the sources of maintaining natural fertility of soil has been drying out. Lack of material resources and ignorance of scientific knowledge have further depleted the soils of the natural fertility. Earlier only animal waste was enough to maintain soil fertility.

4) Storage of food grains:

Storage of food grains is a big problem. Nearly 10 per cent of our harvest goes waste every year in the absence of proper storage facilities.

5) Farm Implements:

Most of the farmers are poor and do not have enough resources to purchase modern farm implements and tools. This hampers the development of agriculture.
